Kremlin Cup prize money remains the same

“We are not going to give up supporting the tournament,” said Mikhail Kuzovlyov, the President of the Bank of Moscow that is the tournament’s General Partner.

According to him, the Kremlin Cup’s prize money will be the same as in 2014.

Last year the competition’s prize money was $1.39 million.

“We didn’t plan to change the sum of money. Kremlin Cup is still the top-priority project for our Bank and for the whole VTB Group. We are not going to give up its financing,” stated Kuzovlyov.

The Bank of Moscow provides the prize money to the tournament. In 2014 Kremlin’s winners were a Croat Marin Cilic (ATP) and a Russian Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova (WTA).

The first Kremlin Cup took place in Moscow in 1990.
