Roscosmos and Moscow State University signed five-year agreement on cooperation


The agreement provides for the creation of university artificial satellites by aerospace industry organizations in cooperation with professors, students, and post-graduates of Moscow State University.

The Roscosmos State Corporation for Space Activity and Lomonosov Moscow State University signed a five-year agreement on cooperation in the sphere of education, the official website of the State Corporation reported on Tuesday.

The agreement was signed by Head of Roscosmos Igor Komarov and MSU rector Viktor Sadovnichiy.

The agreement deals with the space research, with conducting experiments on high accuracy multi-color photometric viewing of the sky from the ISS, with testing high accuracy star trackers, with studying the problems of human life support while exploring deep space.

It is reported that MSU and Roscosmos are already preparing the satellite "Lomonosov" to be launched from the Vostochny cosmodrome.
