Russia and Cyprus signed nine documents on cooperation

Russia and Cyprus signed nine documents on cooperation, including military and naval cooperation.

The countries signed the Memorandum of Understanding between the Central Bank of Russia and the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission, the Memorandum of Understanding between the Russian investment agency “Invest in Russia” and the Cypriot investment agency.

Furthermore, there was signed the Memorandum of Understanding between the Russian Ministry of Education and Science and the Cypriot Ministry of Finance on scientific and technical cooperation, and the protocol of the eighth meeting of the Russian-Cypriot Intergovernmental Commission on economic cooperation.

The Foreign Ministers of the two countries signed the cooperation program in the field of science, education and culture for the period 2015-2018, the agreement between the two governments on cooperation countering trafficking in narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and drug abuse.

Besides, they signed the intergovernmental agreement on cooperation in countering terrorism.
