The Ukrainian authorities are cutting off Donbass, that’s the problem, said President of the Russian Federation.

Russian President Vladimir Putin denied a rumor about Ukrainian President’s offering Russia to take Donbass. He said that during his 13th Q&A marathon “Direct Line”. “No, nothing like that happened. We discussed (in Minsk) the issues related to the revival of the economy and social sphere of Donbass; there are a lot of problems with that,” Putin stated.

The Ukrainian authorities are cutting off Donbass, that’s the problem, he admitted.

“We do not notice Kyiv’s desire to restore social sphere of Donbass, nor its economy, that’s true. We talked about it a lot, and the Minsk agreements highlight it,” explained Putin.

“The agreements are to be kept, but nothing is being done,” concluded the Russian leader.
