Dolgov: Russian aggression in Ukraine is a myth

“Verkhovna Rada deputies should stop dealing with myth-making. The aggression against Ukraine took place, but it was committed by neo-Nazis,” said Russian Foreign Ministry Commissioner for Human Rights Konstantin Dolgov on Thursday.

In this way he commented on the Verkhovna Rada’s statement on the actions of Russia in February last year.

“Neo-Radicals continue feeling free in Ukraine. It is a serious threat to other states, to regional and international security,” admitted the diplomat.

The Ukrainian authorities didn’t take concrete steps to investigate crimes, like the one that had led to the massive loss of life in Odessa on May 2 last year, he said. “Unfortunately, the Ukrainian authorities avoid some practical steps in this direction. Apparently, there is something to hide, something to fear,” highlighted Dolgov.

According to him, it is necessary to bring to justice “not only those who had pulled the trigger, but also those who had organized the slaughter of innocent people.”
