Vladimir Spivakov to give three concerts on 100th anniversary of Armenian Genocide


The National Philharmonic of Russia (NPR) directed by a world-renowned conductor Vladimir Spivakov will give concerts in Armenia dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide of 1915, Top Concert reports via Facebook.

The concerts will be held at the National Academic Theater of Opera and Ballet after Spendiaryan in Yerevan.

At the concert on April 14 one will be able to enjoy “Piano Concerto in A Major №12” and “Requiem” by Mozart, on April 15 - works by Verdi, Mozart, Bellini, Donizetti, and Puccini. On April 16 will be presented a multimedia project – “Ofni bolshogo goroda” (the changed name of Charlie Chaplin’s film “City Lights” – ed).
